| Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO) |
| In charge of financial management and planning of financial resources. |
| Deputy Conservator (DC) |
| In charge of the Marine Department and looks after the pilotage-i.e. the movement of vessels in & out of the port. Controls Port Fire Station, Pollution Control and Dangerous Goods Handling. |
| Chief Engineer (CE) |
| In-charge of Planning & Execution of all civil engineering departmental works, wharfs, jetties, roads & bridges, buildings etc. |
| Traffic Manager (TM) |
| In-charge of all cargo handling operations like cargo receipt, storage & delivery. Deciding berthing priorities on a day-to-day basis as per prevailing Berthing policy, Monitoring cargo traffic, finalising traffic projection, Marketing port's services and facilities. |
| Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) |
| In charge of maintenance, planning and supply of required cargo handling equipment like cranes, crafts and the flotilla of the port and plant & machinery. The operations and maintenance of iron or handling plant, oil handling facilities and maintenance of Power Supply, Water Supply, Communication and illumination are also being looked after by CME. In addition, planning and procurement of Cargo Handling Equipment and Floating Crafts are also done by CME. |

| In charge of the Port Trust Hospital and other dispensaries of the port. |
| Senior Stores Officer(SSO) |
| In charge of the procurement, maintenance, stocking & supply of different items of stores and materials other than capital equipment & medicines. |
| Trade Promotion & Public Relations Officer (TP&PRO) |
| Incharge of Trade Promotion and Public Relations activities. Also Incharge of Business Development Cell. |
